Common questions

Where do my discarded photos go?
Discarded photos move to a "Verdict — To Delete" album in your iOS Photos library. They are NOT deleted right away. From the Review screen you trigger one batch delete; iOS asks for confirmation, then sends them to "Recently Deleted" where they stay recoverable for 30 days.

Does Verdict upload anything?
No. Verdict runs 100 % on your iPhone. There is no network call except optional iCloud Photos thumbnail fetches when needed.

Why can't I find duplicates?
Duplicate detection is a Verdict Pro feature. Tap the DUPLICATES card on the home screen to unlock. On large libraries (>2,000 photos) the analysis runs in batches of 2,000; tap "Analyse next batch" between sessions.

How do I restore my Pro purchase on a new device?
Open the paywall (any locked feature) and tap "Restore purchases". As long as you are signed in with the same Apple ID, Pro reactivates instantly.

I deleted photos by mistake.
Open iOS Photos → Albums → Recently Deleted. Photos stay recoverable for 30 days from the moment of deletion.
